Ministry Update
God has given us some good contacts, and we are hoping to be out on our own soon. (We are still needing more income, and I am having some trouble finding a second job.) If you would please make this a matter of prayer for us. We really want to be on our own and truly begin the ministry that God is leading us to accomplish.
As we have decided that I will be intentionally bi-vocational for the remainder of ministry, I have applied for a supervisor position at the WalMart Distribution Center where I work. It is not expected for me to be awarded the position, but this will allow me the opportunity to learn the process and make my interest in promoting to be known to the upper management.
Also, please pray for me as I have opportunities to minister to people at work. There are many people in need and many who need the Spirit of God to awaken them and transform them.
In Christ Alone.

A Compassion that Compels
There he was, on the street with his steel cup sitting in front of him just waiting for someone to help him out. The people in their expensive business suits just passing him by. Politicians are moving from one place to another not giving him a second look even as they announce to their constituents a desire to help the homeless in their districts and states. All this man wants is from someone to help him for just today. All this man wants is something to eat or somewhere to sleep.

Story & a Picture
Here's the story:
Heather is at a MOPs Convention meeting this weekend, so I pretty much have the boys to myself. Not a bad deal, get to play and have fun, along with winding them up as much as I want without bothering anybody else when my parents are at work.God's comfort comes in all shapes and sizes. This time it was from my blonde-headed 4 year old. What a man of God. Assures me we are doing what we need to be doing with him.
Today started off with an upset stomach which is not a big surprise since I have not been up at 8 am for over a year, except with rare instances. Get Heather and the boys to a music class this morning, and I leave to get our van inspected. Stomach starts to feel worse and the line is long at the inspection station. So I go to WalMart and have to wait in the van for my stomach to settle. I am sure you see where this is going :)
By early afternoon, my stomach is tossing and churning with nothing to slow it down. I try some crackers only to have the need to release them into the "potty." Connor finds me in the bathroom while I continue my loud and painful ordeal. He comes in and I lay down exhausted and frustrated. A day alone with the boys, and I am sick.
Connor sits down next to me and starts asking me questions. Great an interrogation by a 4 year old! Then he says, "Daddy, we need to pray that God will make you better. We need to pray for God to make you not sick and to heal you." No response from me, and then he begins to pray!
Connor anxiously trying to get the ball.
